Having neglected my kids a little over the last few weeks I decided to do my “mummy bit”. We agreed to go to the Fish and Chip shop (a treat as I don’t really like Fish & Chips) and then walk to the park, so we could sit on a bench in the early evening sun and eat our dinner while watching the ducks.
Well, as we were about to sit down Matilda (she is 6) went “ahhhhhh there is a bird shit on the bench” – needless to say I almost fell of the bench. We ate about 2 chips and then agreed that it was freezing. We drove home and ate our dinner in the kitchen, nice and warm without a bird shit in sight!
