As much as kids can drive you to despair they can also make you laugh out loud.
Matilda my 6 year old came running to me this morning very concerned “mummy, mummy there is a worm in my mouth” - anyone who knows Matilda would not put it past her to eat a worm – so of course I was a little concerned that this was indeed the situation I was faced with (my tummy was a this stage doing summersaults).
The household soon returned from a state of panic to just the normal level of busyness when it became clear that Matilda was referring to her uvula!!!!!!!!!!!
