Getting frustrated with the Post Office

March 21st, 2010 by Malene

Some times it feels that if anything is going to go wrong it will ……. We always try to send parcel out the same day as ordered. All our children’s clothes are sent first class recorded delivery. So it is extremely frustrating when a customer contacts us to say that the parcel has not arrive …… it is frustrating to the customer and indeed us, especially when it turns out that the postman just left the parcel on the doorstep ….. the whole idea of paying for recorded delivery is of course that the parcel including children’s clothes  is signed for.

I get frustrated, – our objective is to provide the customer with a seamless transaction. Indeed the core of our business objective is to provide outstanding customer service.

A significant part of our customers are repeat customers and their loyalty should be rewarded with top customer service ….. just such a shame that the Post Office do not feel the same ….

Am I being a little harsh ….  probably, the ladies at the actual Post Office are fantastic.

However, it has now happened a few times and it simply reflects badly on KSBKids although we will go out of our way to sort it. And yes evetually we did have a happy customer, “Hi Malene, Order arrived safe and sound!!! Tops fantastic, thank you for extra, they’re lovely too. Thanks too for your efficiency in sorting this out”, Lorraine.

Will be interesting to see how the Post Office respond to my complaint, fingers crossed… you never know I may be complaining unnecessarily.
