Denmark is not only a country (ohhh yes believe it or not it is not the capital of Sweden ………….How many people have not asked me that over the years), it’s also the theme for this blog entry, well not so much the country, rather Danish children’s clothes design!
I could however happily tell you about the country, but I am biased! I could go on about the Danish pastries, the rye-bread, the numerous bike lanes even in the city centre, the vast amount of corn fields, the sea, Tivoli, Nyhavn’en …. ohhh yes I love it all. Denmark is in so many ways idyllic. I also think they to a greater extend than us here in the UK manages to put the family first. When I was last in Copenhagen I noticed that they have now installed timers next to pedestrian crossings. You know exactly how long you have to cross the street before the “red man” reappears. That just sums up the Danish efficiency.
Denmark is renowned for high fashion and quality and the strong Danish sense of practicality along with cutting edge designs can only be a winner when it comes to children’s clothes.
Danish children’s clothes have some awesome designs, slightly retro at times. Quality is assured and the clothes have generally been designed with playful children in mind!

I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you how much I like your products. We bought some tops for my son a while back and he finds them very comfortable, and he looks great in them. They don’t fade much with washing, either. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

I placed an order with you on Friday morning of last week, and added a note to ask if you could despatch the item asap, as it was needed for a child’s Christmas concert.
The item was received the next morning – can’t ask for better service than that!

If you are interested in Scandinavian designed children’s clothes may I recommend this blog http://littlescandinavian.com/ that I stumbled across earlier today.
The writer discusses her reasons for buying Scandinavian clothing for her children. Similar to myself she does this not only because of her heritage but also because she wants her children to wear comfortable clothes they like themselves.
I myself have for a few years been increasingly frustrated with the growing trend to dress children as mini adults. I wanted to let you know that I’m delighted with the clothes that I ordered for my daughter, they are lovely quality, mercifully free of logos, and she is wearing them all the time! I stumbled across your site whilst looking for a green top for her to be an elf with santa’s sleigh in our town this Xmas with her Stagecoach drama group and it is perfect.
I have recommended your site to the rest of the Stagecoach parents, so you may well have more orders placed for green t-shirts over the next week or so!

Layering clothes creates a great look. It’s a great option for any season of the year, but especially good for this colder period we are facing.
Try laying the stripy and plain tops, or a plain top with a stripy t-shirt on top.
We have lots of different coloured plain children’s tops and renown for our large range of stripy trendy t-shirts and tops for both boys and girls. We may well be heading towards “the darker” time of the year, but with the selection of children’s tops we have in stock there is no need for children to be dressed in dark, dull colours.

Our popular wide stripy tops for children are now back online in some of the more traditional colours.
We also have some funky new colours available. As always the quality is top of the range. Our stripy and plain tops will retain their shape wash after wash. They are soft and comfortable to wear. We have lots of testimonials on site that mention the outstanding quality of the tops.

Driving to school this morning, I looked at my youngest in the rear view mirror and said “are you looking forward to the fact that mormor (grandma in danish) is coming to stay with us tomorrow?”
Matilda casually replied, without ever taking her eyes of the road “yah…….but I gotta survive today first”. Honestly, – she should try leading my life! May I just here add – before I get any phone calls from social services – Matilda is a well loved little girl and really her life is not that bad although it obviously felt so on this particular Monday morning!
