Denmark is not only a country (ohhh yes believe it or not it is not the capital of Sweden ………….How many people have not asked me that over the years), it’s also the theme for this blog entry, well not so much the country, rather Danish children’s clothes design!  

I could however happily tell you about the country, but I am biased! I could go on about the Danish pastries, the rye-bread, the numerous bike lanes even in the city centre, the vast amount of corn fields, the sea, Tivoli, Nyhavn’en …. ohhh yes I love it all. Denmark is in so many ways idyllic.  I also think they to a greater extend than us here in the UK manages to put the family first. When I was last in Copenhagen I noticed that they have now installed timers next to pedestrian crossings. You know exactly how long you have to cross the street before the “red man” reappears. That just sums up the Danish efficiency.

Denmark is renowned for high fashion and quality and  the strong Danish sense of practicality along with cutting edge designs can only be a winner when it comes to children’s clothes.
