The “navy and red” stripy children’s top, as well as the “white and black” and indeed the “red and white” are popular choices when it comes to dressing up for French day at school.
During french day children and teachers often immerse themselves in all things French. Children will have the opportunity to learn french songs and try delicious foods such as croissants, Camembert cheese and french bread. Where do I buy plain coloured tops for children? As most of you know we sell a lot of stripy tops for boys and girls. Many of these are in fact unisex…. I often wonder if unisex is the right word to use. However, until a better word pops to mind I will continue to use unisex (suggestions grateful accepted). Our popular red/white wide stripy top is indeed an example of an unisex top, – it looks great on both boys and girls.
It has become increasingly apparent that often our customers also struggle to find plain coloured tops. Plain tops are great for creating the popular layered look….. Wear a plain coloured top with a stripy tee on top. At times “busy” print skirts also require a plain top.

The annual summer holiday is coming up. Two weeks on a little Danish island with my two girls………….
Like everyone else I wonder where the year has gone. The period just before a holiday is a little crazy. My list of things “to do” with regard to work is growing and the packing is still to be done. I like many others even clean for the burglars………
But once I get through these next couple of days, I will be flying out for a very idyllic typical Danish holiday.
I will be spending two weeks on a little Danish island, with nothing but cows for company. This way of life is what I hope to portray through www.ksbkids.com
It is about putting the kids in focus, letting them be kids for a few weeks without the stresses of every day life. It is somehow about going back to basics.
We will have lazy mornings, cycle to the baker to pick up buns for our breakfast. We will eat outside, while fighting off the wasps, catch jelly fish only to let them back out again. I will sit and look out over the sea and wonder what the next year will bring, while my girls will be throwing stones in the water and occasionally at each other.
We will go for walks, eat icecreams and I will look at them when the sun catches their hair and wonder why I stress around so much. Surely this is what it is all about?
One wonders why we get so caught up in everyday life and some time forget what it is all about.
Having said that ….when the girls are in bed, I will sit in chair, enjoy the light summer evenings and the smell and sound of the sea and I may just have to read a few books about ecommerce and social media. Having two weeks off without doing any work at all could be dangerous…. I may just not want to come back! So I will be thinking about work now and again, I will decide on the way forward for what is left of 2009 and I will be looking at what the children are wearing so that I hopefully will come back inspired and ready to introduce new items of children’s clothes to the existing range at www.ksbkids.com. It has been pointed out to me that we sell an increasing number of tops and t-shirts to children who attend Steiner Schools.
At the Steiner Schools there are no official school uniforms; – the choice of children’s clothes is pretty much left to the parents. Although, they do ask that no one wears logos. This is done to discourage an unhelpful focus on status, and difference between pupils.
As the clothes we sell at www.ksbkids.com are unbranded, we are a good choice for parents who want unbranded and “logo free” children’s clothes.
The philosophy behind Kids Should Be Kids fits nicely with that of the Steiner Schools. We believe kids should be allowed to be kids, they should be dressed as kids and not mini-adults. Let them wear comfortable, bright, bold and fun tops that are comfortable and do not feature big logos on the front.
