Danish & Scandinavian Children’s Clothes

January 13th, 2010 No Comments

Denmark is not only a country (ohhh yes believe it or not it is not the capital of Sweden ………….How many people have not asked me that over the years), it’s also the theme for this blog entry, well not so much the country, rather Danish children’s clothes design!

I could however happily tell you about the country, but I am biased! I could go on about the Danish pastries, the rye-bread, the numerous bike lanes even in the city centre, the vast amount of corn fields, the sea, Tivoli, Nyhavn’en …. ohhh yes I love it all. Denmark is in so many ways idyllic.  I also think they to a greater extend than us here in the UK manages to put the family first. When I was last in Copenhagen I noticed that they have now installed timers next to pedestrian crossings. You know exactly how long you have to cross the street before the “red man” reappears. That just sums up the Danish efficiency.

Denmark is renowned for high fashion and quality and  the strong Danish sense of practicality along with cutting edge designs can only be a winner when it comes to children’s clothes.

Danish children’s clothes have some awesome designs, slightly retro at times. Quality is assured and the clothes have generally been designed with playful children in mind!

Danish and indeed Scandinavian Children’s Clothing is known for its bright and colorful designs and their reasonable prices. Many of the brands have established a loyal following across Europe.  Always, happy, colourful, trendy, friendly and wear-resistant qualities at affordable prices. Selling Childrens Clothes Online: Customer Testimonials

December 1st, 2009 No Comments

Some times a few a single customer comment can make all the difference:

I have just found you on facebook and wanted to say thank you for the lovely t-shirt dress I bought from you for my daughter over two years ago – it still looks fabulous and is my daughters favourite dress so has been worn over and over again. It still holds its shape and although a little short for her now (due to children growing taller!) she uses it with leggings. It will then be handed down to my younger daughter. So glad you are doing so well. Anna

Little Scandinavian

November 23rd, 2009 No Comments

If you are interested in Scandinavian designed children’s clothes may I recommend this blog http://littlescandinavian.com/ that I stumbled across earlier today.

The writer discusses her reasons for buying Scandinavian clothing for her children. Similar to myself she does this not only because of her heritage but also because she wants her children to wear comfortable clothes they like themselves.

I myself have for a few years been increasingly frustrated with the growing trend to dress children as mini adults. Consequently, KSBKids is based on the fundamental view that kids should be dressed as kids. We take into consideration that “real” children will be wearing the clothes, children who want to be comfortable when they run around, play and get dirty.

We stock colourful children’s clothes, – children’s clothes that are fresh, practical, trendy and funky in bright, clean and vibrant colour combinations. We have many colourful tops in top quality cotton.

Children say the funniest things

May 11th, 2009 No Comments

As much as kids can drive you to despair they can also make you laugh out loud.

Matilda my 6 year old came running to me this morning very concerned “mummy, mummy there is a worm in my mouth” -  anyone who knows Matilda would not put it past her to eat a worm – so of course I was a little concerned that this was indeed the situation I was faced with (my tummy was a this stage doing summersaults).

The household soon returned from a state of panic to just the normal level of busyness when it became clear that Matilda was referring to her uvula!!!!!!!!!!!
