Ethical Policy Please be assured that we consider business ethics very seriously. We are aware of supply and labour issues and report any concerns about working conditions that we experience. The brands we stock have contracts in place with their suppliers which require them to meet the basic minimum standards of the International Labour Organisation.
KSBKids will never condone the establishment of poor working conditions or the use of child labour. Both Italy Kids and BombiBitt visit their suppliers regularly, not only to inspect and uphold the quality of goods, but also to ensure that working standards are aheard to. Given the levels of quality that both Italy Kids and BombiBitt demand for their products they choose factories that are well established, that produce for other quality retail/wholesale organisations and have the ability and the "mind set" to meet good ethical and safety requirements.
What is Protx? Protx provides very high levels of internet and physical security to ensure sensitive credit/debit card information is never compromised.
Steiner Schools? It has been pointed out to me that we sell an increasing number of tops and t-shirts to children who attend Steiner Schools. At the Steiner Schools there are no official school uniforms; – the choice of children’s clothes is pretty much left to the parents. Although, they do ask that no one wears logos. This is done to discourage an unhelpful focus on status, and difference between pupils.
As the clothes we sell at www.ksbkids.com are unbranded, we are a good choice for parents who want unbranded and “logo free” children’s clothes. The philosophy behind Kids Should Be Kids fits nicely with that of the Steiner Schools. We believe kids should be allowed to be kids, they should be dressed as kids and not mini-adults. Let them wear comfortable, bright, bold and fun tops that are comfortable and do not feature big logos on the front.
Steiner education is based on the work of Dr Rudolf Steiner (1861 – 1925). The priority of the Steiner ethos is to provide an unhurried and creative learning environment where children can find the joy in learning and experience the richness of childhood rather than early specialisation or academic hot-housing. Steiner schools have a reputation for producing well-rounded and balanced human beings who are able to cope with the demands of a fast-changing and uncertain world. http://www.steinerwaldorf.org/whatissteinereducation.html
Hosting Some times you come across people or businesses you just have to recommend. I have had various companies hosting my site www.ksbkids.com over the years, but never have I come across a company so supporting as http://www.penguin-uk.com.
May I take this opportunity to recommend Penguin to anyone looking for a reliable, secure, supportive and generally outstanding host for their website. I have not come across a more professional company. No no I am not on commission, but my life has become a lot easier since I transferred my site to Penguin.
